Inception for smaller sites, Integriti for the big ones

Both run access control and intruder alarms as one system, use the same readers and keypads, and connect to IR Connect for remote control. The choice comes down to door count, how many sites you run and how far you want to integrate.

Inner Range Inception

A controller with its own web interface, so there is no software to install and no software licence to pay for. It handles doors, alarm areas and simple building automation for offices, shops, clinics and schools.

  • Four doors built in, expanding to 128, with lift control for up to 32 cars
  • Eight inputs on board, expanding to 1,024 for detectors and door contacts
  • IR Connect app for arming, doors and alerts away from site
  • Integrations with Milestone, Hanwha WAVE and Control4, plus a REST API

Enterprise

Inner Range Integriti

Software for multi-site estates with thousands of doors and cameras. System Designer is where the system is built and programmed; GateKeeper is where operators watch events, maps and alarms day to day.

  • Express, Professional, Business and Corporate editions to suit the site
  • More than 300 integrations, including Active Directory, lifts, fire and intercoms
  • Every programming change audited, with rollback
  • Infiniti for Class 5 high-security areas on the same system
What it does

One system for doors, alarms and video

Inner Range supplies everything from the card reader to the controller to the software, so each part is designed to work with the rest. These are the features that matter most on our jobs.

Access and alarms as one

Doors, alarm areas and detectors sit in one system with one list of users. Inputs are universal, so the same controller takes PIRs, door reeds and lock sensors, and an operator has one screen to watch instead of two.

Encrypted SIFER readers

SIFER readers use MIFARE DESFire EV1, EV2 and EV3 cards and encrypt to AES-128 from the card all the way to the door module, a big step up from plain Wiegand. Mobile Access readers add Bluetooth phone credentials on the same device.

Alarms that always get through

Multipath IP T4000 communicators send alarms over Ethernet and dual-SIM 4G, encrypted to AES-128 and polling as often as every 10 seconds. If one path drops the alarm takes the other, and a path that stays down raises its own alarm. They also suit other panels that report Contact ID.

IR Connect in your pocket

The IR Connect app and web portal give alarm notifications, live and recorded video, arming and door control across every site. Operational data stays on the controller on site and the cloud carries the encrypted link. It replaces the SkyCommand app and still works with existing systems.

Built for high security

On sensitive sites the controller, expanders, keypads and SIFER readers talk over a network encrypted to AES-128 with message authentication, and end-of-line modules encrypt the link to each detector. Infiniti Integriti meets AS/NZS 2201.1 Class 5, and high and lower security areas can share one system.

Video in the same system

IR Video Pro cameras and video gateways record alongside the access and alarm system, so an event at a door comes with the footage around it. Integriti Business and Corporate editions also bring in CCTV from other video systems.

What Teracom does on an Inner Range job

  1. Design

Doors, alarm areas and detector positions planned from the site drawings, and the right platform chosen, Inception or Integriti, before anything is ordered.

  2. Install and commission

Controllers, readers, keypads and detectors installed and wired, areas and access levels programmed, and every door and zone tested before handover.

  3. Connect to monitoring

A T4000 communicator sends alarms to our monitoring centre over Ethernet and 4G, so one dropped connection does not leave the site unwatched.

  4. Look after it

Firmware, software maintenance and health checks handled on a maintenance plan, so the system stays current and supported.

Why Teracom works with Inner Range

Unified security that scales with you.

Unified by Design

Access control and intrusion run as one system, not two -- extending through Integriti into CCTV, lighting, intercoms, HVAC and visitor management from a single interface.

Multipath IP Monitoring

Encrypted IP and cellular paths to the monitoring centre, so critical alarm signals keep getting through even if one path fails.

No Lock-In Licensing

An Integriti licence is a one-off purchase, not an annual subscription -- unlike much of the enterprise access control market.

Built for Scale

From a single-door install to a multi-site global deployment, with software intuitive enough for non-expert operators day to day.

Flexible Credentials

Card readers, smartphone and smartwatch credentials, fingerprint readers and facial recognition -- choose how people get through the door.

Cybersecurity, Continuously

Treated as an ongoing effort rather than a one-off feature, with products, systems and processes updated as threats evolve.

Inner Range builds access control and intruder alarm systems used across some of the world's most demanding sites, from single-door installations through to multi-site global deployments. An access control system replaces traditional keyed locks with a combination of electronic locks and identification devices -- card readers, smartphone and smartwatch credentials, fingerprint readers and facial recognition cameras -- so you can grant or restrict access to any area, at any time, and change that instantly rather than re-keying a building. Intrusion detection works alongside it: motion detectors, door reed switches and infrared beams pick up unauthorised entry, and the system can alert a monitoring centre, on-site security or a smartphone the moment it happens. Inner Range's Multipath IP monitoring adds encrypted IP and cellular communication paths to a monitoring station, so critical alarm information keeps getting through even if one path fails.

What sets Inner Range apart is how far that unification goes. Rather than running access control and intrusion as two separate systems, Inner Range combines them -- and, through its Integriti platform's integrations, extends into CCTV, lighting, intercoms, heating, cooling, visitor management and other third-party systems -- all managed from a single interface. That reduces equipment, installation and maintenance costs, and means operators only need to learn one piece of software rather than several. Cyber security is treated as an ongoing effort rather than a one-off feature, with products, systems and processes updated as threats evolve.

Inner Range systems have been installed on more than 50,000 sites across 25 countries, backed by a global network of over 5,000 certified system integrators and more than 30 years in the field. The software is intuitive enough for non-security-expert users to operate day to day, from simple apps through to smartwatches, and an Integriti licence is a one-off purchase rather than an ongoing subscription -- unlike much of the enterprise access control market, there are no lock-in annual licence fees driving up the total cost of ownership over time.
